Joslin Monahan and Alison Khorey Join Miller Johnson
Joslin E. Monahan and Alison F. Khorey have joined Miller Johnson as attorneys in the firm’s Grand Rapids office.
Joslin Monahan is an experienced litigator and business/corporate law attorney. Ms. Monahan has most recently been acknowledged as an authority in emerging cannabis law matters, developing expertise in entity formation, applicant requirements and background checks, licensing with Michigan’s Marijuana Regulatory Agency and local licenses, permits and ordinances.

Ms. Monahan was awarded her J.D. from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, earned her M.A.in Philosophy from the University of Montana, and received her B.A., summa cum laude, from Hope College.
Alison Khorey offers a broad set of healthcare reimbursement services to protect clients and care providers. Ms. Khorey primarily represents medical providers seeking insurance reimbursement on patient accounts. She pursues payment, interest, and fees from carriers for wrongful denials of hospital claims by third-party payers, including no-fault carriers, health insurance plans and government plans. Ms. Khorey is an expert at all aspects of dispute cases from initial investigation through appeal.

Ms. Khorey earned her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law and she received her B.A. from the University of Notre Dame.
