The Unfair Competition Practice Group represents companies and individuals regarding all issues associated with unfair competition, including non-competition agreements, trade secrets, fiduciary duties, and improper raiding. Members of our Unfair Competition Practice Group are experienced in counseling and litigating unfair competition issues in state and federal courts and before arbitration panels. - Obtaining injunctive relief against employees who have breached non-competition agreements, improperly used confidential information or trade secrets, or violated their fiduciary duties
- Drafting non-competition and confidentiality agreements
- Counseling employers how to retain key employees and protect their proprietary information
- Counseling companies on minimizing the risks of being sued for alleged raids of a competitor’s workforce and defending against such claims
- Counseling individuals on permitted activities in connection with forming a competing business or joining a competing company
