Mergers and Acquisitions
Stephen represents private equity funds and privately held companies in complex buy-side and sell-side business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other general corporate transactions, ranging from $10 million to $500 million deals.
Stephen has managed due diligence processes throughout transaction lifecycle, including management interviews and comprehensive review of corporate records, business contracts, real property leases, and litigation issues.
He organizes deal team workflow, coordinates signings and closings, and facilitates filings.
Business / Corporate
Stephen counsels corporations in a broad range of matters including strategic planning, officer and directors’ duties, shareholder rights, litigation prevention, and corporate governance. He advises and supports start-up and nonprofit clients with entity formation, employment, commercial, and lease agreements, as well as regulatory and governance matters.
Mr. Reaume was awarded his J.D., cum laude, from the Wayne State University Law School in 2017. He was the Managing Editor of Wayne Law Review, oralist and brief writer for the Wayne Law Moot Court National Team, and received the Board of Governors Scholarship and the Dean’s Book Award Scholarship. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, summa cum laude, from DePaul University in 2014 and was awarded the Department of Sociology – Outstanding Senior Award and the Award for Scholastic Excellence.
