Miller Johnson represents employers who have been charged with discriminating against or harassing an employee because of the employee’s race, gender, age, disability, religion or some other characteristic protected by law.

At the administrative level we assist employers with responding to charges of discrimination or harassment filed by or with the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and state equal employment agencies such as the Michigan Department of Civil Rights.

At the litigation stage we represent employers who have been sued in court based on charges of discrimination or harassment.

We also counsel employers regarding how to structure their operations and manage their employees to avoid claims of discrimination.
