REMINDER: EEO-1 Filing Opens Today

As noted in our September 5 client alert, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) announced that the 2022 EEO-1 Component 1 data collection will open on October 31, 2023.  The deadline for employers to file their EEO-1 reports is December 5, 2023.

An EEO-1 Report must be submitted by all private sector employers with at least 100 employees, federal contractors with 50 or more employees, and a comparable report by certain types of public employers.  Known as EEO-1 Component 1, this data submission has been required for over 50 years.
