OFCCP Issues Updated Self-Identification of Disability Form

Last week the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) issued an updated Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability Form.  Covered federal contractors and subcontractors are required to use this form to invite applicants, new hires, and current employees to voluntarily self-identify as an individual with a disability.

The OFCCP stated that it “revised the form to update the preferred language for disabilities and to include additional examples of disabilities.”  The updated form also specifically provides that “completing this form is voluntary.”

Covered federal contractors and subcontractors have until July 25, 2023 to implement the new form.
