Amanda Rauh-Bieri is a Member in the Litigation practice at Miller Johnson.

Commercial Litigation

Ms. Rauh-Bieri regularly manages and supports commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts across Michigan. She has focused much of her client representation in the appellate process, working on matters involving constitutional law, insurance, products liability, and complex commercial litigation. She has appeared before the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Sixth Circuit.

Professional Affiliations, Activities and Honors

Ms. Rauh-Bieri clerked for the Honorable Amy Coney Barrett of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Honorable John M. Walker of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

She was recognized as a 2022 Top Lawyer, Appellate, in Grand Rapids Magazine. She was also recognized on the 2021 State Bar of Michigan Pro Bono Honor Roll.

Education

Ms. Rauh-Bieri was awarded her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School in 2017. She was Order of the Coif; Michigan Law Review, Book Review Editor, Associate Editor; Women Law Students Association, Co-President; and a Graduate Student Instructor in the Department of History and Department of Art History. She also achieved her M. Div., magna cum laude, from Duke University in 2014. She earned her B.A in International Studies, magna cum laude, from Hope College in 2011. While at Hope College she spent a semester in Amman, Jordan participating in a language and culture program.
