Emma N. Green
Emma N. Green is a counsel member in the Family Law practice group where she helps clients navigate divorce, custody, and parenting time disputes.
Emma understands that when clients come to her, they are usually in unfamiliar territory. Whether in the midst of a divorce or custody action, Emma provides a roadmap of next steps and leads clients through difficult terrain. She represents clients in cases involving custody, parenting time, child support, spousal support, and property division. Emma strives to be timely, cost-effective, and tailor solutions unique to each client’s needs.
Professional Affiliations, Activities and Honors
Emma is a member of the Grand Rapids Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, Women Lawyer’s Association of Michigan, and American Bar Association. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan Young Lawyer’s Section Executive Council, where she organizes the annual National Trial Advocacy Competition for law students. Previously, Emma was the Family Law Chair for the Washtenaw County Bar Association.
Education, Bar and Court Admissions
Emma earned her Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2021. During her time there, she participated in VIS International Moot Court, helped international students as a teaching assistant, and interned with several non-profits.
In 2021, Emma spent a year in Madrid and graduated from Universidad Pontificia Comillas with her LL.M in International and European Business Law.
Emma received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish from Saint Mary’s College, magna cum laude.
Emma is currently licensed to practice in Michigan.
