Michael Nye Honored as Intellectual Property “Go To Lawyer”

Michael R. Nye has been selected as a 2022 “Go To Lawyer” for Intellectual Property Law in Michigan by Michigan Lawyers Weekly.

Mr. Nye is the Co-Chair of Miller Johnson’s Intellectual Property practice and focuses on patents in computer and electrical related technologies. He devises strategies for protecting and developing IP assets to achieve each client’s business objectives.

Now in its third year, the “Go To Lawyers” program recognizes leading lawyers in a particular field of law. Mr. Nye is one of only 24 select honorees profiled in this week’s issue of  Michigan Lawyers Weekly.

In addition to this most recent honor, Mr. Nye has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America 2021 for Patent Law, and as a Rising Star in Intellectual Property Law in Michigan SuperLawyers from 2015-2019. 

He prepares and prosecutes patent applications, reviews competitive landscapes to identify potential infringers, analyzes opportunities for future patent protection, performs due diligence reviews of IP portfolios, and advises on freedom to operate for new product offerings and features.
