Barbara Moore is an Associate in the firm’s Kalamazoo office.  Her practice focuses mostly on employment and labor issues like employee handbook and workplace policies, employment discrimination and wage and hour issues.

Ms. Moore regularly counsels clients on federal employment law matters related to the Family Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, and other federal or state regulations, statutes and guidelines.  She also advises clients on paid leave policies for Michigan and other states. Ms. Moore also helps employers understand the impact of medical and recreational marijuana statutes on workplace policies and guidelines.

Ms. Moore previously worked at the National Housing Law Project where her time was spent focusing on foreclosure statues.  She also served as a legal intern with the Michigan House of Representatives.
