Nicole Kryzhan

Nicole Kryzhan is an attorney in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice. A seasoned trademark and copyright professional specializing in domestic and international trademark clearance, prosecution, portfolio management, and enforcement matters.

With a proven track record, Nicole has successfully obtained trademark and copyright registrations for a diverse range of small and large companies in numerous fields of use, including automotive, pharmaceutical/medical/healthcare, food/beverage, cosmetics, clothing, computer software and services, and financial/insurance services.

Practice related activities

Nicole advises clients on trademark filing and prosecution strategies and has experience drafting agreements pertaining to ownership and other interests, conducting IP due diligence searches, and handling Uniform Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) disputes. Nicole participates in enforcement strategies, including monitoring trademark watches, investigating third-party use, and providing advice as to enforcement.  Finally, Nicole counsels clients on a number of related issues involving intellectual property, namely, issues involving data privacy and artificial intelligence.

Nicole earned her Master of Laws in Intellectual Property from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2015 and she also received her juris doctor from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2012. Nicole received her bachelor of arts from Oakland University in 1997.

Nicole is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan.
