Timothy J. Kramer specializes in family law, landlord-tenant disputes, construction law, secured transactions, and commercial litigation. He counsels clients in real estate and real property matters, involving construction liens and bonds with owners, developers and contractors.

Mr. Kramer is qualified to mediate and arbitrate all types of family law matters and has experience in such methods of alternative dispute resolution. He is also a case evaluator for the Macomb County Circuit Court.

Mr. Kramer was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1984 and the federal bar for the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals in 1985. He is a member of the state bar’s Family Law, Litigation, and Real Property Law sections. He also is a member of the Detroit Metropolitan and Macomb County bar associations.

He earned his juris doctorate from the Detroit College of Law (now Michigan State University College of Law) and his bachelor’s degree from Oakland University
