Marcus C. Hoekstra
Marcus Hoekstra is an Associate in Miller Johnson’s corporate section and part of the Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) team.
Marcus represents both domestic and international clients in the organization, acquisition, and operation of their businesses. This work includes providing support for private equity and strategic buyers, sellers, and management in all types of investment transactions.
Education, Bar and Court Admissions, Clerkships
Marcus graduated Magna Cum Laude with his juris doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. While in law school he was an executive member of the IP Theory law journal and a member of the Elmore Entrepreneurship Law Clinic. He clerked for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida and Miller Johnson during his summers.
Mr. Hoekstra earned his B.A. degree, Magna Cum Laude, in Religious Studies from Wabash College while participating in various organizations including the school’s soccer team, jazz ensemble, and model UN club.
