Ali A. Fardoun

Ali Fardoun is an associate in the firm’s litigation practice group.

Ali is an experienced litigator and has successfully represented clients in various disputes, including those involving minority oppression, breach of fiduciary duty, partnerships, business torts, employment matters, and more.

In additional to his litigation experience, Ali has guided businesses through complex commercial transactions, and has provided counsel on entity formation, contract negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate transactions.

Education

Ali earned his J.D. degree from Wayne State University Law School in 2019 as a Governor’s Scholar (a full-tuition academic merit-based scholarship recipient). He was selected to serve as an Articles Editor for The Journal of Law in Society, where he provided legal research and drafting assistance to support submission of scholarly articles for publication.

During law school, Ali also gained experience working as a Judicial Extern at the U.S. District Court, E.D. of Michigan, in the chambers of the Honorable George Caram Steeh, and as a Legal Intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, E.D. of Michigan, in the Forfeiture and Financial Litigation Unit.

Ali earned his B.A. degree in Economics, summa cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy, where he played men’s varsity soccer and was a member of the economics club. He also interned at the Federal Trade Commission, Bureau of Consumer Protection, in Washington, D.C., during his final semester while completing coursework at The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars.
