Test Page-Zoom from Home Via Citrix
How to setup home computer to use Zoom video conferences while logged in MJ Desktop
We now have the ability to setup our home computers so that when you are logged into your Miller Johnson Desktop, you can join Zoom video conferences directly from the MJ Desktop.
You must install two pieces of software on your home computer for this update using the instructions below.
- The Citrix Workspace application (We recommend version 2105 for Windows, 2106 for Mac)
- The Zoom Plugin for Citrix Receiver (We recommend version 5.5.6.20501)
For Windows Users:

- Click here and then click Download to get the Miller Johnson custom Citrix Workspace installer (it has both required files) from our OneDrive.
- After it downloads, run the program by double clicking on it
- If you get a warning that “Windows protected your PC”, click More Info and Run Anyway.
- If asked if you want to allow this app from an unknown publisher to make changes to your computer, click Yes.
- Click “Yes” when asked if you want to install, then Citrix Workspace and the Zoom Plugin will be automatically installed. It likely will take AT LEAST 5 minutes (you will see an installing message for a while)
- When prompted to add “MJ”, click “Add”.
- A login prompt will appear. Log in using your Miller Johnson credentials.
- If nothing opens after you enter your login and authenticate, try launching the Citrix Workspace program again and logging in a second time.
NOTE: If you have trouble logging in the first time, the next time you try to log in, you may be prompted for a server name. Type “home.millerjohnson.com” as your server, then log in normally using your Miller Johnson credentials. (You can also try running the Workspace configuration file)
For Mac Users:

- Download and run the latest Citrix Workspace installer here.
- If you get an error message when installing Citrix, you likely need to update your Mac’s operating system to 10.15 Catalina via this link from Apple here.
- Download and run the Zoom Media Plugin here.
- Once both are installed, download and run the Workspace configuration file here.
- When prompted to add “MJ”, click “Add”.
- When prompted, log in using your Miller Johnson account.
NOTE: If you have trouble logging in the first time, repeat step 3 and try again, or type “home.millerjohnson.com” as your server when prompted.
For Chromebook or Mobile Users:
Unfortunately, Zoom usage inside of your Miller Johnson desktop is not supported when connected via a Chromebook, iPhone, iPad or Android device. Please use apps or extensions to join Zoom calls outside the Miller Johnson desktop.
