Williams Joins Miller Johnson’s Business Section

Miller Johnson is pleased to welcome Neil D. Williams to the Grand Rapids office.

Mr. Williams is part of Miller Johnson’s taxation, mergers and acquisitions, and international business practice groups. He has significant experience in advising both privately held and publicly traded companies on the tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, restructuring and divestitures. Mr. Williams has also managed tax due diligence projects for buyers.

Mr. Williams earned his Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School and a LL.M. from Loyola Law School. He received both a B.A. and his M.S. in accounting from Michigan State University.

Prior to joining Miller Johnson’s growing business section, Mr. Williams was with Ernst & Young LLP in both their Los Angeles and Chicago offices. While in law school, he was an intern with the Internal Revenue Service, Office of Chief Counsel in Detroit.
