Title IX Training and Resources Coming Soon

As we’ve shared in previous client alerts and communications, beginning August 1, 2024, the new Title IX regulations will impose a number of new notice, training, record-keeping, and compliance obligations on schools, colleges and other entitles subject to Title IX.

To help your school navigate these new requirements, we are pleased to announce that Miller Johnson will soon offer on-demand Title IX training as well as a variety of template documents and other resources. The Miller Johnson Title IX package will include:

  • On-Demand Training that complies with Title IX’s training requirements for:
    • All employees
    • Title IX Coordinators
    • Other employees with a role in the grievance process
  • Template documents, including:
    • Response email to person reporting conduct that may constitute sex discrimination, confirming whether the person wants to make a “complaint”
    • Complaint Form
    • Notice of Complaint to Complainant and Respondent
    • Notice of Dismissal to Complainant and Respondent
    • Notice of Emergency Removal and Right to Appeal
    • Informal Resolution Notification and Agreement

    • Notice of Non-Discrimination
    • K-12 Policy and Grievance Procedure
    • Post-Secondary Policy and Grievance Procedure, including option for separate grievance procedure to address sex-based harassment involving students

    • Title IX Flowchart
    • Confidential Employee Notice Form
    • Framework for Title IX Coordinator to document reports of conduct that may constitute sex discrimination and school response
