Miller Johnson Welcomes Lino Taormina to Med Recovery Practice Group
DETROIT, Mich. April 22, 2026 – Miller Johnson is proud to welcome Lino Taormina to our Detroit office as a Counsel Attorney in the Med Recovery practice group. Mr. Taormina has extensive experience representing insurance carriers across a broad spectrum of litigation matters, providing deep insight into coverage issues, defenses, and claim valuation.
Mr. Taormina’s practice focuses on medical revenue recovery and insurance reimbursement disputes for healthcare providers. He works with hospitals, health systems, physician groups, and other medical providers to pursue effective recovery strategies while navigating complex insurance and liability issues. He handles matters from initial claim assessment through resolution, advising clients on coverage analysis, valuation, and strategic approaches to maximize reimbursement.

Prior to joining Miller Johnson, Mr. Taormina represented a range of insurance carriers, overseeing matters from initial evaluation through final resolution. This experience gives him a distinct understanding of the challenges inherent in reimbursement disputes.
Mr. Taormina earned his law degree from The University of Toledo College of Law in 2019 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accounting from Adrian College.
