Miller Johnson Welcomes Lee Ryder Koffend
KALAMAZOO, Mich., July 30, 2024 – Miller Johnson is pleased to announce that Lee Ryder Koffend has joined the firm as Senior Counsel in its Immigration practice group. With fifteen years of experience in immigration law, Ryder Koffend brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the team.

Ryder Koffend served as Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) and Responsible Officer (RO) for Western Michigan University’s Student and Exchange Visitor programs since 2008. She also worked as the Senior Director of International Student Scholar Services at Western Michigan University’s Haenicke Institute for Global Education, where she oversaw immigration-related petitions, advising services, and compliance.

Ryder Koffend is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and a member of the Western District of Michigan Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
Ryder Koffend earned her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Cooley Law School and she received her Bachelor of Science, magna cum laude, from Rivier University.
