Miller Johnson Welcomes Emily Sheridan
Grand Rapids, Mich., July 22, 2024 – Miller Johnson is thrilled to announce the addition of Emily K. Sheridan to our esteemed Probate and Estate Planning Practice Group. Sheridan brings a wealth of knowledge and a unique blend of skills to the firm, having earned her Master’s degree in Social Work before embarking on a distinguished career in law, culminating in her recent role in private practice specializing in estate planning and probate cases.

Sheridan’s background in social work and law provides her with a deep understanding of the intricate dynamics that often accompany estate planning and probate cases. Her client-centered approach ensures that she provides expert representation while also supporting her clients with empathy and understanding.
Sheridan earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 2020. In 2019, she was a Judicial Extern for the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court of Florida Family Division where she focused on Family Law cases. In 2018, Sheridan was a law clerk focusing on Estate Planning, Trust Administration, and Real Estate Law. Before attending law school, Sheridan graduated from Florida International University where she earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2017. She received her Bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in Psychology with a minor in leadership from Hope College in 2015.
