Miller Johnson Welcomes Emily Belczak to Private Client, Probate, and Estate Planning Practice Group
GRAND RAPIDS, MI – December 22, 2025 – Miller Johnson is pleased to announce that Emily Belczak has joined our Grand Rapids office as an Associate in the Private Client, Probate, and Estate Planning practice group.
Emily will focus her practice on a broad range of matters, including wills, trusts, estates, guardianships, and conservatorships. She is dedicated to helping clients navigate complex decisions with confidence and care, providing strategic guidance to reduce tax burdens, safeguard assets, and preserve family legacies. Her experience includes representing clients in challenges to the validity of wills and trusts, addressing claims of breach of fiduciary duty, and handling court proceedings for the appointment or removal of personal representatives, trustees, guardians, and conservators for both minors and adults. Emily also advises on estate and trust creditor claim issues, ensuring clients receive comprehensive support during sensitive and often complicated legal processes.

Emily earned her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in 2025. While in law school, she was the Senior Symposia editor of the Michigan State Law Review and the Communications Chair for the Moot Court Program. Emily also previously participated in the firm’s Summer Associate Program.
