Miller Johnson Welcomes Codie Lynn Burt to the Corporate, M&A Practice Group
KALAMAZOO, MI – September 23, 2025 – Miller Johnson is pleased to announce that Codie Lynn Burt has joined the firm as an attorney in the Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group. Codie brings a dynamic background in transactional law, civil litigation, and business counseling, with a particular focus on contract law, employment matters, and real property.
Codie earned her J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law, where she distinguished herself as a peer mentor and Civil Facilitative Mediator. Prior to joining Miller Johnson, she practiced at Herbert Machnik Law Firm, where she advised clients across a range of industries and legal issues. Codie is also deeply committed to community engagement, serving as a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kalamazoo since 2016.

Codie will be based in the firm’s Kalamazoo office and will support clients in corporate governance, business formation, and transactional matters.
