Miller Johnson Represents Integrated Packaging Machinery in Sale to Douglas Machine’s Holding Company

The Transaction

Integrated Packaging Machinery, LLC (IPM) was acquired by the employee-owned holding company that owns Douglas Machine, Inc. (Douglas). IPM offers a diverse set of high-quality packaging-related equipment and services. In just 20 years, they have experienced staggering growth as they moved into robotics, established internal business units and developed a customer-driven approach known as the “The IPM Method.” Douglas is a global leader in automated secondary packaging solutions and has installed more than 9,000 machines in 30 countries.

Integrated Packaging Machinery, LLC will operate independently as a sister company to Douglas Machine under its 100% employee-owned holding company. Together this is a major step in bringing fully integrated packaging lines to the business portfolio resulting in sustained value creation.
