The Transaction
In February 2026, Miller Johnson represented Continuum Ventures, LLC in its acquisition of the ROCKWOOL Racing SailGP Team, the Danish national team competing in the global SailGP racing series. The transaction brings the high‑performance sailing team under the ownership and operation of American Magic, marking a significant expansion of Continuum’s investment in elite competitive sailing and international sports platforms.
The acquisition unites SailGP, ROCKWOOL, and American Magic through a shared commitment to innovation, athletic excellence, and the future of professional sailing. Following the transaction, the team will continue to represent Denmark and compete globally, with ROCKWOOL remaining as title partner under a long‑term sponsorship agreement through 2032.
American Magic, co‑founded by Doug DeVos, will own and operate the team and integrate it into a broader high‑performance sailing platform. The acquisition reflects growing investor interest in SailGP teams as the league continues its global expansion and fan growth.

The ROCKWOOL Racing SailGP Team competes in SailGP’s international championship and is recognized as one of the fastest teams in the league.
