Miller Johnson Announces 2025 Firm Leadership; Daniels, Willey, Cherry Elected to New Roles
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. February 17, 2025 – Miller Johnson has announced the following leadership positions, effective immediately, which serve as the executive structure of the firm:
Dustin J. Daniels and Sarah K. Willey have been elected to the firm’s Management Committee for 3-year terms. They join David M. Buday (Managing Member and Chair of the Management Committee), Michael E. Stroster, Richard E. Hillary II, and Rich Sorota (Chief Executive Officer) in managing the firm’s day-to-day operations.
Daniels is the past chair of the firm’s Business, Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions practice. He is a recognized leading national advisor in M&A, Leveraged Buyouts and Private Equity Law, and Closely Held Companies and Family Businesses Law.
Willey returns to Management Committee for a second time after heading the firm’s compensation committee. She previously served as vice chair of the firm’s Employment and Labor practice and chairs the firm’s FMLA/ADA Solutions practice.
Richard O. Cherry will serve as office administrative member in Kalamazoo supervising client service activities in Southwest Michigan. Cherry is a highly accomplished public sector attorney, having spent over 14 years of his career practicing municipal law and criminal prosecution in both Kalamazoo and Chicago.
Fadwa A. Hammoud will continue to serve as office managing member in Detroit. Hammoud is on the firm’s senior leadership team advancing strategic growth and client representation across the state. She helps direct key lines of service, including crisis management, investigations, corporate, health care, and municipal law.
