Madeline VerHey Appointed to the Meritas Emerging Leaders Advisory Board

Miller Johnson is proud to announce that Grand Rapids attorney Madeline VerHey has been appointed to the Meritas Emerging Leaders Advisory Board.  Ms. VerHey is an associate in the firm’s real estate practice.

Ms. VerHey earned her Juris Doctor cum laude from Boston College Law School in 2022. While in law school, she served as Executive Notes Editor for the Boston College Law Review and Vice President of the Federalist Society. Madeline interned for Chief Judge Robert J. Jonker as a summer clerk during the summer of 2020. Madeline graduated with her B.A in Political Science with a minor in Sustainability from the University of Notre Dame in 2019.

Madeline spoke at the Meritas Law Firms Worldwide U.S. Regional Meeting in Austin, Texas in October, 2023 on the “How Law Firms Can Overcome Generational Disconnection and Re-engage Talent” panel discussing how tapping into the strengths, tendencies, and preferences at a generational level, just as one may do at an individual level, has the power to energize and galvanize your firm’s talent.
