Julie Sullivan Selected to the 2024 Class of Leaders in the Law
Miller Johnson is proud to announce that Julie A. Sullivan, a distinguished Member of the firm’s Management Committee and Family Law practice, has been selected by Michigan Lawyers Weekly to its 2024 Class of Leaders in the Law. Ms. Sullivan joins a distinguished list of Miller Johnson attorneys who have received this honor, including Erik R. Daly (2023), Robert D. Brower, Jr. (2013), Craig H. Lubben (2012), Jon R. Muth (2011), Jon G. March (2010), and James S. Brady (2009).
Julie Sullivan’s career has spanned over three decades. Ms. Sullivan is well known throughout the state and is recognized as an expert in assisting parties touched by the laws related to establishing and ending family relationships. She represents clients in all matters related to the divorce process, including custody, parenting time, child support, spousal support, identification of marital and non-marital property, business valuation incident to divorce, and property division. She has extensive experience in drafting, defending and challenging Ante-Nuptial Agreements.
In 2024, she was recognized as Best Lawyers Kalamazoo, Michigan “Lawyer of the Year” for Family Law. She has been recognized by Leading Lawyers® and Best Lawyers® in Family Law and Family Law Mediation many times over the course of her career.

In addition to her exceptional legal career, Julie Sullivan has always been active in the Kalamazoo community, serving previously on the Board of Directors for the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo, the Kalamazoo Art Institute, the Kalamazoo County Friend of the Court Advisory Committee, the Glowing Embers Girl Scout Council, the Kalamazoo Women’s Network, and the Financial Advisory Committee for the Sisters of St. Joseph.
