Jon G. March Inducted into Michigan Lawyers Weekly Hall of Fame
GRAND RAPIDS, MI – March 6, 2026 – Miller Johnson is delighted to announce that Jon G. March has been inducted into the Michigan Lawyers Weekly Hall of Fame. A former Managing Member of Miller Johnson, Mr. March spent the entirety of his five-decades-long private practice career with the firm and has long been revered as a leader in the legal community in Michigan.
“I am both honored and humbled by this induction,” said March. “Honored because I know the quality of the lawyers previously inducted, and it is an honor to be associated with them. Humbled because the fact of the matter is that whatever I was able to accomplish in my legal career was only possible because of the quality of the people, lawyers and staff, with whom I was privileged to work during my 51 year career at Miller Johnson. This recognition belongs to all of them.”
“I am thrilled to congratulate Jon on his induction into Michigan Lawyers Weekly Hall of Fame. This recognition is extremely well-deserved and represents the immense impact Jon has had on the legal profession in Michigan and beyond,” said Jeff Muth, Managing Member of Miller Johnson. “Jon has been an invaluable leader, a trusted advisor, a supportive mentor, a formidable counselor, an effective mediator, and so much more. More than anything, he has been a friend and steadying force throughout his career. The standard Jon set continues to motivate us to be the best we can be.”
Mr. March retired this year as a highly respected trial lawyer handling matters in employment, commercial, construction, and general civil litigation. His litigation work spans federal and state courts, arbitration, and administrative proceedings. In addition to his trial practice, Mr. March was one of Michigan’s most seasoned mediators and arbitrators, having handled cases involving industries ranging from automotive and healthcare to real estate development and publishing. He served as a mediator in matters involving medical malpractice, construction defects, environmental contamination, employment disputes, antitrust issues, and more. Mr. March mediated cases involving individuals, Fortune 500 companies, family-owned business, municipalities, public schools, state universities, and government affairs.
