Fitzgerald Joins Miller Johnson Healthcare Provider Reimbursement Group

Lori B. Fitzgerald joined Miller Johnson’s Healthcare Provider Reimbursement practice as a litigation attorney working with hospitals and physician groups seeking insurance reimbursement on patient accounts.

Ms. Fitzgerald represents medical providers in complex no-fault Personal Injury Protection claims to recover payment of services from insurance companies. She ensures compliance with state and federal regulations and statutes and interprets insurance policy language for coverage and exclusions.

Ms. Fitzgerald has been practicing law since 2011, previously representing insurance companies and their insureds in personal injury, bodily injury liability, general negligence, and property claims. Ms. Fitzgerald has handled a variety of family and criminal matters in Western Michigan. She has handled auto and property claims throughout all of Lower Michigan, as well as Mackinac Island.

Ms. Fitzgerald earned her J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2010 where she was awarded an Academic Merit Scholarship. She is admitted to practice law in Michigan and is an active participant in the Legal Aid of Western Michigan Pro Bono Program and is also trained to be a certified mediator.
