Harden and Dimithe Accepted into 2019 LCLD Programs
Brittany Harden was accepted into the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellows Program and Loïc Dimithe will participate in the Pathfinder Program. Miller Johnson has had attorneys participate in LCLD programs since the organization launched them as part of the firm’s commitment to diversity and inclusivity.
“These talented individuals have been singled out for leadership by their organizations, and represent a broad spectrum of backgrounds as diverse as the country they serve,” said Laura Stein, LCLD Chair and Executive Vice President and General Counsel of the Clorox Corporation.
Brittany Harden, as a Fellow, will participate in one of the most comprehensive legal talent development programs in the country. The 2019 class is the largest and has 157 Fellows from LCLD Member corporations and 169 Fellows from Member laws firms. During the Fellow year, she embarks on a learning program that includes in-person conferences, training in the fine points of legal practice, peer-group projects to foster collaboration and build relationships, and extensive contact with LCLD’s top leadership, including the managing partners and general counsel.
Ms. Harden is an Associate in the Grand Rapids office. She has experience with a diverse client base in advising on corporate transactions including general business matters as well as M&A. In addition, Ms. Harden handles intellectual property (IP) matters involving trademark, copyright, and licensing for corporate clients and entrepreneurial start-ups. In addition to being a member of several bar associations, Ms. Harden is on the Grand Rapids Opportunities for Women (GROW) Board of Directors and the Grand Rapids Intellectual Property Women (GRIP) steering committee. She earned her J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and her B.S. from Grand Valley State University.
Loïc Dimithe, as a diverse, high-potential, early-career attorney, was an ideal match for the Pathfinder Program. The program provides practical tools for developing and leveraging professional networks through relationship-building skills, foundational leadership skills, and an understanding of career development strategies applicable to both in-house and law firm practice.
Mr. Dimithe is an Associate in the Grand Rapids office. His business corporate practice includes working with the mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate finance, and banking and financial institutions groups.
