Applications now Available for Miller Johnson Michigan Diversity Law School Scholarship

Applications are available now until March 1, 2020, for the Miller Johnson Michigan Diversity Law School Scholarship for the 2020-2021 academic year. All applicants receive an email with the decisions the second week of May.

The scholarship is provided annually to students of color from Michigan accepted to or attending any accredited law school in the United States intending to earn a law degree. Scholarship recipients are selected by Grand Rapids Community Foundation and applicants follow the Community Foundation process. Application information is provided to all law schools in Michigan and schools throughout the nation as recommended. This scholarship is a means to ensure access to careers in law are open and available to all interested in choosing a vocation in the legal industry.

Established in 2009, the scholarship has been awarded to a wide range of students in various law schools throughout the country and has provided more than $40,000 in total financial assistance.
