Alexandra Page, Young Fei Join Miller Johnson

Alexandra S. Page and Young Fei have joined Miller Johnson as associate attorneys. Page joins Miller Johnson representing clients in the cannabis industry and commercial and criminal litigation matters. Fei joins Miller Johnson representing clients to develop their intellectual property and patent portfolios.

Young, in intellectual property, works with essential clients on their patents to ensure their best interests are served and their work product is protected. It’s remarkable how there are similarities in both of their practices, yet applied in completely distinct areas. We are lucky to have both join us as their client service capabilities enhance these expanding practices for Miller Johnson.”

 Alex Page focuses much of her practice on the cannabis industry. She has represented businesses with entity formation, licensing with Michigan’s Cannabis Regulatory Agency, permitting and compliance, and operational matters.

Alex is on the State Bar of Michigan Bar Journal Committee. She is also a member of the Young Lawyers Division and Cannabis section of the State Bar. She is an active member of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan and frequently volunteers her time at local expungement fairs.

Ms. Page received her J.D., cum laude, from the Michigan State University College of Law. She was the Senior Articles Editor of the Michigan State Law Review, Diversity Chair of the Women’s Law Caucus, a member of the Criminal Defense Society, and spent a summer studying abroad in Bialystok, Poland with other law students from Michigan, Poland, and Belarus. She earned her B.A. in Political Science and International Studies, with honors, from the University of Michigan.

While in law school, Alex was a law student extern in the State of Michigan Appellate Defender Office. She also was an extern to the Honorable Amy Ronayne Krause of the Michigan Court of Appeals.

 Young Fei works with clients to develop patent portfolios optimized for the client’s strategic needs. He is experienced in preparing and prosecuting patent applications involving a wide‐range of technologies, including machine learning applications, control systems, image processing techniques, medical devices, and a variety of integrated mechanical, optical, and electronic systems.

Prior to entering private practice, Young served as an attorney with the United States Department of the Navy Office of the General Counsel, where he advised a Navy research laboratory on many intellectual property and contracting issues.

Before attending law school, Young was a Captain in the United States Marine Corps. He supported Operation ENDURING FREEDOM as an Intelligence Officer, performing a variety duties ranging from managing teams of signals intelligence analysts, all-source intelligences analysts, and ground electronic maintenance technicians to spearheading the negotiation, staffing, and drafting of an enduring memorandum of agreement between Coalition partners.

Mr. Fei was awarded his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School in 2017. He earned his B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California in 2010. Young is fluent in spoken Mandarin Chinese.
