Jennifer Yelovina, CFRE, CAP®
Senior Director of Gift Planning Western Michigan University
Jennifer joined the WMU Advancement team as the Senior Director of Gift Planning in 2022. She has 20+ years of major and planned gift experience as a manager and a fundraiser. Prior to WMU, Jennifer established a Planned Giving program for a hospital in northern Michigan, providing leadership and support for foundation affiliates throughout the state and building a network of professional advisors throughout the region.
Jennifer is the immediate past President and the former Program Committee Chair for the Western Michigan Planned Giving Group, is a member of the National Association of Charitable Gift Planners, and the American Council on Gift Annuities. She has earned the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) and Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credentials and holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
Brad Kaufman, CFRE
Brad Kaufmann, CFRE serves as Director of Planned Giving for the Mary Free Bed Hospital Foundation and is responsible for identifying and securing planned gifts as well as leading the annual fund efforts for the foundation.
Brad has worked in the nonprofit arena for more than 24 years, including development and leadership positions with both healthcare and education organizations. He was the Director of Annual Giving for the Spectrum Health Foundation in Grand Rapids, and President of Junior Achievement of Southwest Michigan serving the Battle Creek and Kalamazoo areas. Other roles include the Vice President of Marketing for Junior Achievement USA and with the United States Congress.
Brad grew up on the East Coast and is a graduate of the University of Vermont. He has lived in West Michigan since 2005.
