COVID-19 Protocols for the Employment Law Seminar
Miller Johnson is committed to the safety of all, and have taken all necessary precautions in hosting in-person events. These include:
- Enforcing local or venue COVID-related protocols in place at the time of the event.
- We understand there are a wide range of perspectives on masks, but we ask you all to wear a mask during this event in order to comport with CDC guidance, to show consideration for others in the room, and to provide an additional layer of protection for those we will all interact with at work and at home after the event is done.
- Encouraging social distancing of 6 feet in both indoor and outdoor spaces.
- Supplying masks, hand sanitizer, and soap across the facility to minimize the risk of viral transmission from guest to guest.
- Requiring all staff members of DeVos Place Convention Center to wear masks.
We will continue to maintain both the CDC’s and the State of Michigan’s recommended guidelines for gathering during the COVID-19 outbreak and will update you with any changes to the protocol. DeVos Place has also made efforts to protocols by implementing VenueShield. Please click here to view their strategy and protocols.
Email Amy Sgro to transfer your registration to the virtual recordings if you have registered for this event, and any of the following apply:
- if you have tested positive for COVID-19,
- are waiting for COVID-19 test results,
- have COVID-19 symptoms, or
- if you have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for or who has symptoms of COVID-19.
