For many years, the U.S. Department of Labor has taken the position that managers of retirement plans have a fiduciary duty to missing participants, including a duty to try to find them, and missing participants are a frequent subject of DOL audits. In this webinar, Brett Swearingen will run through the guidance the agency has provided plan fiduciaries regarding the steps they should be taking to try to reunite missing participants with their retirement savings.
