SECURE Act 2.0 Signed Into Law – Key Features and Timeline

In this webinar, Miller Johnson attorneys Frank Berrodin, Jeff Gray and Alex Dombrow will cover the key provisions of the SECURE Act 2.0, which was signed into law on December 29, 2022 as part of Congress’s year end spending bill. The law makes several key changes to retirement plans, such as revising the required minimum distribution age, increasing catch-up contribution limits, mandating earlier participation for long term part-time employees, enhancing emergency savings, mandating automatic enrollment for new plans, and providing plans with an option to make matching contributions on student loan payments.
