Sara Weskalnies is an Associate at Miller Johnson in the Litigation Section. She represents clients in a wide variety of claims and disputes including:

Sara has experience in many aspects of civil litigation including researching and analyzing complex legal issues, drafting dispositive motions and settlement demands, preparing pleadings, and taking depositions. Sara also has experience in COVID-19 related business matters and is a member of the Miller Johnson’s COVID-19 Business Solutions Team.
Professional Experience and Affiliations
Prior to joining Miller Johnson, Sara was a Research Attorney with the Michigan Court of Appeals and a Law Clerk to the Honorable Yolanda L. Curtin with the Harford County Circuit Court in Maryland. She was also a Legal Extern at the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Professional Responsibility while in law school.
Sara is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Maryland State Bar, Grand Rapids Bar Association, and Federal Bar Association.
She is admitted to United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan.
Sara earned her J.D. magna cum laude in 2018 from Michigan State University College of Law. She was Associate Editor of the Law Review and received a Juris Prudence Award for Media Law. Sara received a Bachelor of Science degree in English Literature summa cum laude from the Towson University.
She is licensed to practice in Michigan and Maryland.
