Jeffrey A. Turner

Jeffrey A. Turner is an Associate in Miller Johnson’s Litigation practice group.

Practice-related activities

Jeff manages and supports commercial litigation and appeals in state and federal courts nationwide. With specialty in complex briefing, Jeff has led briefing teams on appeal and in the trial courts across a variety of industries, including complex commercial litigation, product liability, and intellectual property matters. He has argued, and won, before the Michigan Supreme Court. And he has obtained successful results in complex litigation at the trial level.

Professional Experience

Jeff clerked for the Honorable Joseph H. McKinley Jr. of the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky. Prior to joining Miller Johnson, Jeff was an attorney at another law firm in southeast Michigan.

Education

Jeff earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2020, where he received Order of the Coif honors. While in law school, Jeff was Executive Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review, Treasurer of the American Constitution Society, and a member of the Vanderbilt Law School Ambassadors.

Jeff also received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2017, where he earned the Graduate Marketing Award and was a Research Assistant for the Management Department. He earned his B.A. from the University of Michigan in 2014.
