Professional Experience

Mr. Sherman is a distinguished immigration attorney specializing in employment and family-based immigration. He serves as outside immigration counsel to two large hospital corporations, expertly handling temporary and permanent work visas for various corporate clients across multiple business sectors. With extensive experience in preparing and filing temporary work visas such as H-1B, L-1, O-1, and R-1, as well as employment-based and family-based Green Card applications including EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, EB-4, and family-based categories. In addition to his legal expertise, Mr. Sherman provides invaluable advice to legal and human resources departments regarding visa options for current and prospective employees, visa issues, I-9 compliance, and related matters.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, Mr. Sherman attended Wayne State Law School. As a law student, Mr. Sherman served as the Chief Court Clerk to the Honorable Steven N. Andrews of the Sixth Judicial Circuit Court in Michigan, and as a Law Clerk for the Office of Legal Affairs at William Beaumont Hospital.
