Gabrielle B. Guliana Sharak
Gabrielle B. Guliana Sharak is an attorney in the firm’s Education practice. Her practice covers all areas of education and employment and labor.
Gabrielle works with K-12 public school districts, public school academies, and private schools on both complex and day-to-day matters, including student disciplinary and special education matters, teacher discipline and tenure disputes.
She has experience conducting investigations into employment allegations, drafting administrative law motions and pleadings, analyzing legal issues, and conducting legal research regarding various education, labor, and employment laws, including Michigan’s Revised School Code, applicable special education laws, other school-related statutes, and labor and employment laws, such as Michigan’s Public Employment Relations Act.
Education
Gabrielle received her law degree from The University of Toledo College of Law. While in law school, she was Editor-in-Chief for The University of Toledo Law Review and Vice President of the Middle Eastern and North African Law Student Association. She received her undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University. Gabrielle is admitted to practice in Michigan.
Background
Gabrielle is a first-generation Chaldean American and her roots play a major role in her life. She got married in 2023 and resides in the Detroit area with her husband, Camerin, where they enjoy seeing family, trying different dining spots, and supporting Detroit sports.
