Lee Ryder Koffend is a Senior Counsel Attorney in the firms Immigration practice group. She has fifteen years of experience in immigration law.

Practice related activities

Lee previously served as Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) and Responsible Officer (RO) for Western Michigan University Student and Exchange Visitor programs since 2008. She previously worked for Western Michigan University where she was the Senior Director of International Student Scholar Services; Haenicke Institute for Global Education.  She was responsible for the immigration-related petitions, advising services and immigration compliance for the university.

Lee is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association since 2010.  She is also a member of the Western District of Michigan Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.

Lee was recently a guest on The Welsh Wire podcast on immigration.

Lee earned her juris doctor, magna cum laude, from Cooley Law School in 2008. She was a Senior Associate Editor of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review.
