Bryant Osikowicz is an attorney in Miller Johnson’s Detroit office. As part of the litigation practice group, Bryant brings of over a decade of law enforcement experience to the firm to help clients identify and solve problems within an increasingly intricate and changing legal and regulatory environment.

Prior to joining Miller Johnson, Bryant was a dedicated public servant for 13 years. Most recently, he was appointed as the director of the office of legal affairs for the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, tasked with investigating complaints of discrimination and enforcing state and federal civil rights laws. Bryant also served at the Michigan Department of Attorney General, first as a senior assistant attorney general and eventually rising to bureau chief. As an assistant attorney general, he routinely litigated and consulted on high-profile, complex cases and investigations in conjunction with law enforcement and regulatory agents. As bureau chief, Bryant was responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of a team of over 150 assistant attorneys general, special agents, and support staff. In addition, he served as a special advisor to the executive division in regulatory and compliance matters, department initiatives, long and short-term strategic planning, and the formulation of policies and procedures. Bryant began his legal career as an assistant prosecuting attorney in Oakland County, litigating thousands of cases from drunk driving to homicide.

Bryant is a lifelong Michigander and resident of Oakland county.

Education and Bar Admissions

Bryant earned his juris doctor from Wayne State University Law School in 2008. He received his bachelors degree from Grand Valley State University in 2003. Bryant is admitted to practice law in the State of Michigan.
