Holden Q. Kuhnert
Holden is an Associate in Miller Johnson’s Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) practice group.
Business and Corporate
Holden helps clients navigate the legal aspects of building and growing their companies. He advises on entity formation, commercial agreements, and day-to-day operational matters. Holden works closely with clients ranging from family-owned and closely held businesses to middle-market companies, as well as individuals and nonprofit organizations.
Mergers and Acquisitions
Holden provides legal counsel to private equity firms, strategic buyers, sellers, and management teams on complex acquisition, disposition, and investment transactions. Beyond transactions, he supports clients with commercial contracts, entity formation, licensing, tax considerations, and corporate governance.

Holden is admitted to practice in Michigan. He is a board member of the MSU James Madison College and an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth.
Education, Bar and Court Admissions, Clerkships
Holden earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law in 2025. During law school, he gained experience through internships with Chief Justice Clement of the Michigan Supreme Court and the Michigan State University Office of General Counsel. Holden also served as a member of the Michigan State Law Review. He holds a B.A. in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy from Michigan State University’s James Madison College, graduating in 2021.
