Alise Hildreth is an Associate at Miller Johnson in the firm’s litigation section. Alise represents corporate and individual clients in matters involving commercial litigation, data privacy and cybersecurity, real estate, education, private client, and family law.
Alise has experience in many aspects of civil litigation including researching and analyzing complex legal issues, drafting pleadings, filing motions, and preparing and taking depositions.
Alise has experience advising clients on compliance with a variety of privacy and cybersecurity laws governing private and government organizations, including state privacy and data breach notification laws, HIPAA, CAN-SPAM, FCRA, Critical Infrastructure Protection Act (CIPA), ITAR/EAR, and the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Alise advises companies on a broad range of technology-focused agreements, including data protection agreements, IT equipment and services agreements, and website and software application development agreements. She supports the corporate and M&A teams on deals that involve privacy, data security, and technology issues.

Ms. Hildreth is licensed to practice in Michigan.
Ms. Hildreth was awarded her J.D., magna cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law in 2020. She completed The Trial Practice Institute program, competed in multiple Moot Court competitions, and received the Jursiprudence Award for Criminal Procedure: Investigation awarded to the highest achieving student each semester. A member of the Dean’s List, she also was Secretary and Academic Committee Chair of the Black Law Students Association. In 2017, Ms. Hildreth received a Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Liberal Arts from Soka University of America and was a two-year captain of the women’s soccer team.
