Mark Greidanus is an Associate at Miller Johnson.  He is in the business section working with the real estate practice group.

As he starts his practice Mr. Greidanus will work on a variety of matters related to commercial, industrial, mixed use, and residential development. This includes construction contracts, land use matters, contract disputes, and finance as well as sales, acquisitions and leases. He also assists other members of the business section with the real estate components of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and secured financing.

Professional Experience and Affiliations

Mr. Greidanus served two clerkships while in law school.  The first in 2017 was as a Judicial Clerk with Honorable T.J. Ackert with 17th Circuit Court Family Division in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Later, he worked for two semesters and one summer as a law clerk for the Indiana Attorney General’s Office in consumer litigation and data privacy.

His prior experience also includes being a Litigation Paralegal for two years and Intern/Assistant Intelligence Analyst at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington D.C. in 2014.

Mr. Greidanus is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.

Community Activity

Mr. Greidanus is currently a volunteer coach for the West Michigan Special Hockey Association. In the past, he has volunteered with the Volunteer Tax Income Assistance Program, the YMCA, and Degage Ministries.

Education

Mr. Greidanus earned his J.D. magna cum laude in 2019 from Indiana University Maurer School of Law. He was on the Dean’s List and is a member of the Order of the Coif. In law school he was actively involved in the Entrepreneurship Clinic, the Moot Court Competition, executive leadership of student organizations, and multiple Transactional Drafting Competitions.  He also served as an articles editor of the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies. Mr. Greidanus earned his B.A. from Calvin College in 2014 and was the recipient of several merit-based and service-based scholarships.  He is licensed to practice in Michigan.
