Jessica Faber is a counsel attorney in Miller Johnson’s Medical Recovery Group, where she represents healthcare providers and payors in recovery matters.

With more than a decade of experience in high-volume litigation, appellate advocacy, and insurance disputes, she brings a strategic, results-driven approach to protecting clients’ interests and achieving favorable outcomes.

Her practice draws on extensive experience litigating personal injury and insurance claims, giving her a deep understanding of Michigan’s No-Fault Act and the issues that most often affect providers and payors. Before joining Miller Johnson, Jessica managed personal injury cases throughout the state, experience that gives her firsthand insight into how payors evaluate and resolve disputes, which she now applies on behalf of her clients.

That combination of litigation experience, technical problem-solving, and regulatory knowledge allows Jessica to help clients navigate recovery matters efficiently, delivering practical solutions that protect their interests while maximizing recovery opportunities.

Jessica is a member of the Michigan Association for Justice and remains engaged in the legal community through professional and industry involvement.

Community Activities

Jessica serves as a board member of her childrens’ school as well as other non-profit entities in her community. She is also a coach for the women’s lacrosse team at Seaholm and Groves High Schools in Birmingham, Michigan.

Education, Background, and Court Admissions

Jessica earned her Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School, where she served as Symposium Editor of the Wayne Law Review and was active in student leadership as an elected representative on the Student Board of Governors. She was also the recipient of the Menendez Diaz Scholarship and William Davidson Endowed Scholarship.

During law school, Jessica gained experience through the Bi-National Environmental Law Clinic, served as an Energy and Environment Research Assistant at Wayne State University Law School, and worked as a law clerk with intellectual property law firms in Michigan and Virginia.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, summa cum laude, from Wagner College, where she was a member of the Honors Program and received numerous academic distinctions, including the Chemistry Department Award for the highest GPA among chemistry majors. Jessica was also recognized as an ESPN Academic All-American and Northeast Conference Scholar Athlete.
