Emma is a skilled Paralegal in the Intellectual Property practice group. She specializes in Trademark Prosecution.

Emma provides the following services:

  • Manage and maintain attorney dockets, deadlines, and ongoing case workflows
  • Prepare and file U.S. trademark applications, renewals, Statements/Declarations of Use
  • Coordinate with foreign associates regarding international trademark filings, renewals, and declarations of use
  • Conduct trademark clearance and usage research
  • Collect and organize specimens of use for filings
  • Review and evaluate watch notices for potential conflicts
  • Monitor and respond to communications from the USPTO and foreign associates
  • Correspond with clients regarding trademark filings and maintenance of trademark and copyright portfolios
  • Provide attorney support for chain‑of‑title recordation and ownership updates for trademark and copyright assets
  • Prepare and file U.S. copyright applications and draft Responses to Office Actions
  • Draft assignments, licenses, agreements, and demand letters

Currently, Emma is a Trademark Administrators Committee Member with the International Trademark Association (INTA).
