Megan Callahan-Krol represents clients in the Michigan marijuana industry and is well-versed in all aspects of cannabis law. As an Associate in the firm’s Litigation practice, she also works on commercial litigation and real estate matters.

Cannabis Law

Ms. Callahan-Krol is focused on supporting businesses in the cannabis industry. She counsels businesses in entity formation and structuring, licensing with Michigan’s Cannabis Regulatory Agency, compliance, governance documents and contracts, and real estate transactions. Megan is up-to-date on the latest legal developments in cannabis and regularly advises clients on changes in the law and licensing regime.

Her experience includes advising clients in state and municipal license applications for businesses operating medical and adult-use marijuana facilities, including merit-based applications throughout Michigan.

Ms. Callahan-Krol represents commercial and individual clients in state courts in Michigan.

Professional Affiliations, Activities and Honors

Ms. Callahan-Krol was a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Rosemarie E. Aqualina, Ingham County 30th Circuit Court, conducting legal research. She also served as a Judicial Intern to Justice Brian K. Zahra, Michigan Supreme Court, drafting memoranda on civil and criminal cases.

Education, Bar and Court Admissions, Clerkships

Ms. Callahan-Krol received her J.D. from the Pennsylvania State University, Penn State Law. She was the Articles Editor of the Penn State Law Review, and was awarded a full tuition merit scholarship. She earned her B.A. in Finance, Honors College, from Michigan State University.
