Justin Bratt is an attorney in the firm’s health care reimbursement practice group and has ten years of litigation experience.

Mr. Bratt works with the firm’s hospital, health system, and medical provider clients to obtain payment from insurance companies and health plans on improperly denied patient claims. Mr. Bratt is experienced in all phases of litigation, including pre-suit investigation, discovery, motion practice, alternative dispute resolution, trial, and appeal. Mr. Bratt is licensed in Michigan and regularly appears in Circuit and District courts throughout the state. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Grand Rapids Bar Association.

Mr. Bratt has been recognized as a Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America™ for Health Care Law in 2024.

Education
Mr. Bratt earned his JD at the Michigan State University College of Law in 2011, where he graduated summa cum laude. He received his B.A. in history and political science from Calvin College in 2004.
